Cheddar and Green Onion Biscuit Poppers

Enjoy these biscuit poppers made using baking mix, Cheddar cheese and green onions that are ready in 20 minutes — perfect to serve a group.

2 cups baking mix (e.g. Original Bisquick®)
2/3 cup milk
1/2 cup shredded Cheddar cheese (2 ounces)
4 medium green onions, sliced (1/4 cup)
2 tablespoons butter or margarine, melted


Heat oven to 450°F (232°C). Spray baking sheet with cooking spray.

Stir baking mix, milk, cheese and onions until soft dough forms. Drop dough by rounded teaspoonfuls onto baking sheet.

Bake for 7 to 9 minutes or until golden brown. Brush butter over warm biscuits. Serve with salsa if desired.

Store leftovers tightly wrapped in the freezer; warm 3 or 4 poppers at a time in the microwave on HIGH for 20 to 30 seconds.
