Boston Cream Filling


2 cups milk
1/4 cup granulated sugar
3 tablespoon cornstarch
1/4 teaspoon salt
2 large egg yolks
1 teaspoon vanilla extract


In 2 quart saucepan mix milk, sugar, cornstarch, and salt, egg yolks. Cook over medium low heat, until mixture thickens and boils for 1 minute. Stir in vanilla. Let cool.
