Tourtiere Spices

A blend of spices used in the traditional French-Canadian tourtiere (meat pie).


4 teaspoons


1 teaspoon celery salt
1/2 teaspoon ground black pepper
1/2 teaspoon crushed savory
1/2 teaspoon ground cloves
1/2 teaspoon ground cinnamon
1/2 teaspoon ground thyme
1/4 teaspoon ground sage
1/4 teaspoon mustard powder


In a small bowl, combine celery salt, pepper, savory, cloves, cinnamon, thyme, sage and mustard powder. Mix well.


Store in a sealed jar.
