Awesomely Delicious Brownies

If you love brownies, you should try these easy-to-make brownies.

Ingredients

1 cup butter, melted
3 cups granulated (white) sugar
1 tablespoon vanilla extract
4 large eggs
1 1/2 cups all-purpose flour
1 cup unsweetened cocoa powder
1 teaspoon salt
1 cup semi-sweet chocolate chips

Directions

Preheat oven to 350°F (177°C). Grease a 13 x 9-inch baking pan with Pan Release or cooking spray.

In a large mixing bowl, combine butter, sugar, and vanilla. Beat in eggs, one at a time, mixing well after each addition, until thoroughly blended. Sift together the flour, cocoa powder, and salt. Gradually stir the flour mixture into the chocolate mixture until blended. Stir in the chocolate morsels. Spread the batter evenly into the prepared baking pan.

Bake for 35 to 40 minutes or until a toothpick inserted halfway between edge and center comes out clean. Do not overbake. Center should be set (slightly sticky) but not dry. Cool on wire rack before cutting.

Variation

Drizzle brownies with confectioners' sugar glaze or creamy mint glaze before cutting.
