Lemon Icing

A delicious lemon icing, perfect over Banana Date Nut Bars or double recipe to ice a cake.

Yield

enough to cover 24 bar cookies

Ingredients

1/4 cup butter or margarine, room temperature
1/8 teaspoon salt
2 tablespoons lemon juice
1/2 teaspoon vanilla extract
1 1/2 cups confectioners' (powdered) sugar

Directions

in a small bowl, mix together salt and powdered sugar. Stir in butter, lemon juice, and vanilla. Beat until smooth.
