Chocolate Brownie Crust

This fudgy crust will remind you of soft, chewy brownies the moment you bite into it. Fill with a light creamy pudding or low-fat mousse.


1 9-inch crust


1 1/4 cups reduced fat chocolate wafer crumbs
2 tablespoons granulated (white) sugar
2 tablespoons butter or stick margarine, melted
1 egg white


Preheat oven to 375°F (191°C). In a food processor, combine wafer crumbs, sugar and butter; pulse until blended. Add egg white; pulse until moistened. Press mixture onto the bottom and up the sides of a 9-inch pie plate. Bake for 8 to 10 minutes or until lightly browned. Cool completely before filling.
