Easy to Remember Pie Crust

It is super easy to remember! Half as much shortening as flour, and half as much cold water as shortening

1 single pie crust

1 cup all-purpose flour
1/2 cup solid vegetable shortening, chilled
1/4 cup cold water

Place flour in a medium bowl. Cut in shortening until mixture resembles coarse crumbs. Add cold water and mix just until dough comes together. Allow to rest in refrigerator before rolling out.

Additional Information

If you live in a humid or dry climate, you may need to decrease or increase the amount of water used.
