Pecan Vanilla Wafer Crust

Yield

1 9" pie crust

Ingredients

1 cup vanilla wafer crumbs
1/2 cup pecans, chopped
3 tablespoons granulated sugar
1/4 cup butter or margarine, melted

Directions

Preheat oven to 325°F (163°C). In a medium mixing bowl, combine crumbs, pecans, sugar and butter. Press into the bottom and sides of a 9" pie plate or the bottom of a 9" springform pan. Bake for 10 minutes, or until lightly browned. Do not over bake. Cool completely before using.
