Shortbread Crust

Simple and easy shortbread crust you're sure to love. Especially good with a peach pie.


1 9-inch pie crust


1 cup butter or margarine
1/2 cup confectioners' (powdered) sugar
2 cups all-purpose flour
1/4 teaspoon baking powder


Preheat oven to 350°F (177°C). In a large bowl, cream butter and powdered sugar until light and fluffy. Stir together flour and baking powder; blend into butter mixture. Pat into a 9 inch pie plate. Bake for 12 to 15 minutes, or until edges are lightly browned.
