Candy Bar Pie II

Think you've left childhood behind? Not so fast. Just see how hard it is to be patient waiting for your slice of this creamy layered pie with chunks of caramel-peanut nougat.

Ingredients

4 ounce (1/2 of 8-ounce package) cream cheese, softened (e.g.
PHILADELPHIA)
1 tablespoon cold milk
1 (12 ounce) tub whipped topping, thawed, divided (e.g. COOL WHIP)
1 (2.07 ounce) chocolate-coated caramel-peanut nougat bar, finely chopped
2 (3.9 ounce) package JELL-O Chocolate Instant Pudding
1 1/2 cups cold milk
1 (6 ounce) OREO Pie Crust

Directions

In a large bowl, mix cream cheese and 1 tablespoon milk with whisk until blended. Stir in 1 1/2 cups whipped topping and candy.

Beat pudding mixes and 1 1/2 cups milk in separate large bowl with whisk 2 minutes. (Pudding will be thick.) Stir in 2 cups of the remaining whipped topping; spread half onto bottom of crust. Cover with layers of cream cheese mixture and remaining pudding mixture.

Refrigerate 4 hours or until firm. Garnish with remaining whipped topping before serving.

Additional Information

How to Soften the Cream Cheese: Place measured amount of cream cheese in microwaveable bowl. Microwave on HIGH 10 seconds or just until slightly softened.
