How to Toast Pecans

Toasting pecans enhances the flavor of the pecan. If your recipe calls for toasted pecans, here is an easy way to do it.

What you will need to toast pecans

  • shelled pecans
  • baking sheet
  • spatula
  • oven

To make toasted pecans

  1. Preheat oven to 350°F (177°C).
  2. Place pecans in a single layer on baking sheet.
  3. Bake for 8 to 10, until they are golden and fragrant. Turning pecans once or twice to evenly toast.
  4. Allow to cool.
